i5 6400 overclock

New computer that i bought came with an i5 6400, im content with the base clock, but is it possible to overclock this CPU even though it isnt a "K" skew CPU?

Nop, unless you have a Z170 motherboard with a modded bios available. But even then I wouldn't risk bricking the board for barely a few MHz.

Just don't overclock, buy a K CPU if you want to.

If you have one of a few z170 mobo, it is possible. But, there are just so many downsides that it isn't recommended; it's just not worth it.
