What's your budget? How much are you willing to spend on each part?

As for an order of parts: I'd first get the motherboard, CPU, RAM, and PSU, first, so you have a working PC and can verify that each part works. I'd then get the case and the hard drive/SSD second so you can install Windows. The last thing to get is the GPU, which is important if you want to play games.

You can get a few of these things used off of eBay or from a prebuilt PC. The case, as long as it's not significantly damaged, will work indefinitely and may just need cleaned. You could also use the case from a prebuilt PC, but I personally hate OEM cases as they often like to use glossy black plastic which smudges like hell.

The RAM, motherboard, GPU, and CPU can be used across many builds before ultimately failing, and they also happen to cost the most money out of the other parts, making them a great option to buy used.

Some PSUs can be bought used, but many of the PSUs out there are just plain junk. I'd personally buy this one new if you can, as there are many nice budget options, like the Corsair CX450M and SeaSonic M12II 520 Bronze.

You can buy a used hard drive and SSD and get a pretty good deal, but these may come with a bit of wear on them already. This is just something for you to keep in mind.

really, by time you will have bought the last part, the others will have lost value, possibly a lot of it before you've even used it, perhaps look at buying second hand.

Yours faithfully
