Psu question for 1070

So right now as a power supply I have a 520 watt insignia (I didn't know much about computers around the time I bought it which was like 2 years ago.) And I am going to purchase a GTX 1070 FTW. And I do plan on getting a new PSU which is gonna be the evga 650w gold. But I was wondering if it would be alright if I just used the one I had currently for 2 weeks until I can buy the new PSU.

it will probably be fine (i just wouldnt overclock at all). The reason shitty PSUs are bad is because theyre unpredictable.

 

Dont get the g1 650.

Yeah it should be alright, just don't do anything like run stress tests like prime95 or whatever. Gaming on it will be fine.

I wouldnt get a refurb, but thats just me.

 

Check out the PSU tier list (aim for tier 1 or 2) in my sig. you might find something new in your budget.

Also with that I'm pretty sure the FTW edition which I plan on getting comes already with it overclocked so will that cause me any troubles?
