A buzzing sound from your GPU would be fine.  A buzzing sound from anything else isn't good.

So I got my new PC few days ago and noticed something today, there was a weird buzzing noise.I opened up the case to see if maybe a cable was touching some fan and making that noise but that was not the case, after turning my pc off it did not cease. So I tried turned off the PSU and the buzzing stopped. Should I be worried?

 

It sounds like that but its quieter

i think its coilwhine, not sure but i heard some in there that probably wasent from the PSU too

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

It sounds like that but its quieter

 

It sounds like coil whine, but not from the GPU.  As you move the camera to the rear and closer to the back of the power supply, the noise seemed to increase.

 

Does it make the noise when there's a load on the GPU or is it without GPU use?
