So I have a Maximus hero vii and its been a great mobo, however it has a couple of features That dont work and I dont use, for exemple keybot, I tried it with 5 diferente keyboards and it never worked, so Now Im considering the upgrade to skylake and I need to ask is a ASUS gaming mobo enough for my uses, the features I use are: Asus automatic cpu overlocking, xmp, Raid 0, 0rpm on case fans. WIll na Asus gaming be enough for me or should I spend the extra 100euros?

It depends, if its features you don't use, then why spend the extra.

I've never tried keybot, but I think you need a specific program for it to work correctly.

All motherboards do just about the same job, some have features that others don't. If you feel you don't use the extra ROG type features, then don't buy one.

ROG boards typically end up with better components like capacitors, audio, wifi and such on them than other boards. So that's also something to consider.
