G'day guys,

New to this forum. :)

Bought a pre-built pc about 3 - 4 years ago?

CPU: i7 3770 (Stock cpu cooler)

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H

RAM: Kingston Value 8GB RAM (2X4)

GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660

PSU: Thermaltake 430 PSU

HDD: 2TB HDD

Case: I don't even know since it has no information on it.

My current upgrade list is as follows:

GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 Windforce OC 6GB

SSD: Samsung 850 Pro 256GB

PSU: Corsair RM550x Modular 80 Plus Gold

Case: NZXT S340 Mid Tower

Just wondering if I need to upgrade anything else?

You are spending a bit.

You only need a 550-650w EVGA GS/G2 or any XFX (Except XT series) or any SeaSonic.

Only need an 850Evo 250gb, unless pro is with +-$20.

How much is the 1060 you're getting cost?

Everything looks okay, but make sure your CPU will not be bottleneck for your GPU.

Just don't be a miser at PSU. There are manny online calculators for your wattage usage, therefore it tels you how much juice do you need. Rather spent extra 30$/€ for recognised brand, than to buy a cheapest sollution, which could make you a lot of problems.

Cheers,

Tadej

Ah sorry, AUS.

Seems a bit pricey, to me.

From a quick look 1060's are going from $400-$430 and 480's I seen as low as $369

I was taking a look at the RX 480, but I didn't know if it was a good choice due to hearing the the drivers are bad with some games.

Drivers are fine, both companies have done wrong with games and other things. It's just whoever does what one day, the other will do another.

Ah okay, new to PC Gaming so don't know about all this stuff haha

Thanks for all the help DarkBlade.

Changed the list from 1060 to a 480.

Along with changing the SSD to an 850 250GB.
