My work has lots of HDDs that need to be wiped.

What program should we use to properly wipe them in the fastest time? And perhaps give us error messages if the drive is bad?

I will likely be setting up a mass formatting PC.

Thanks!

I think derek bootn' nuke is a type of eraser.

Otherwise the program I use is 'eraser' which runs in windows with a gui.

Get a machine with lots of sata ports or external enclosures, set them all wiping and go for a break.
