Hey guys i've been having trouble with BF4 (unable to launch) for the past 2 days and i've found the solution to it. The windows 10 anniversary update broke the BF4 borderless windowed mode.

Found a solution that worked for me. Seems like the game launching in borderless mode was an issue. I went to my PROFSAVE_profile file in the Battlefield 4 settings and edited the following lines to look like:
GstRender.FullscreenEnabled 1
GstRender.FullscreenMode 0
GstRender.FullscreenScreen 0
