unRAID HBA compatibility?

Hi all, 

I am on the market for a SAS HBA card for my unRAID NAS and I am currently looking into three HBA solutions. I am wondering which one would be best as I intend to add more drives to my system and my motherboard only has 6 sata connectors and I am also wondering about using one or two SAS drives. My three options are an LSI 9211-8i in IT mode, an LSI 9300-8i and a 9207-8i. I am wondering if any of those are compatible with unRAID and if they all are, which one would be most ideal for my use case.

If I use one of these systems, would this cable work with both SAS and SATA drives (my backplane has sata style connectors not SFF 8087)

It whould work with any HBA that works on linux, so almost any LSI card.

 

Any of those will work.
