bottleneck Upgrading old pc(5 years old)

Hi there, pc masters

 

A while back I got my first pc form my grandpa, he used to use it for video editing(so not your average grandpa pc)

But it has been 5 years or so since it has been build and the Gpu isn't keeping up with current games.

So I'm planning a upgrade, here is the pc:http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Willem_Me/saved/fjtxFT (the ram has been upgraded lately from 4 to 16, dads choice)

I'm planning on getting a RX 480 8gb (No board manufacturer yet) my question now is how much will my CPU + MoBo bottleneck it, to much?

And do I need to upgrade my CPU and MoBo now with the gpu or can I what and save some money and buy it with in a year.

my budget is around 600 € = 670 $

 

so,

-will my mobo bottleneck a RX480 8gb, how much, to much?

-can I only upgrade my gpu and wait a bit with cpu + mobo, and if ddr3 or ddr4?

won't really bottleneck very much, maybe on cpu-heavy games but shouldn't be too bad. you can upgrade the GPU now and get the mobo+cpu later, there are skylake motherboards that support ddr3 so you can reuse your ram.

I have a 10 year old PC with 5 year old CPU and GPU, if I put in something like a 960 it'd be very high end. Also has a DVD drive, only peasants don't have them. (Said the person who has about $100 on hand)

upgrade je cpu en gpu zowiezo misschien ook een nieuw moederbord vanwege die socket op dit moederbord? dan kun je betere en of nieuwere gpu's/cpu's kopen.

I have a DVD drive(even 2 ;P) my grand my used one to read and the other one to burn cds at the same time

i was using an IDE DVD drive up until a few months ago
