I have a second computer for my brother and he likes to play casual games like TF2, Minecraft, and I use the computer to play civ 5, fallout 3/new vegas. The computer is prebuild a has a 300 watt power supply. What graphics card can I get that will work. I have a spare gf 9500 gt but it requires 400 watts of power. I would like it to be able to play games on a 1600x900 monitor with a decent setting. Thanks for any help and have a good day/night. The cheaper the better. Not in performance.

An HD 7750 will work great for $90 and it doesn't need a good psu to work.

I really don't want to spend much at all. It doesn't need to be modern either. I will probably buy it on eBay because i can buy it used.

My budget is under 70 USD. I'd like it to it to be as cheap as possible. I don't think that there is many cards that will work on 300 watts. If you have and question ask and we shall answer.

7750 is the best GPU that doesn't require external power, aside from that the GT 640 is the next fastest. You should be able to find both for used for reasonable prices. They will enable you to play the game's you've mentioned.

7750 no question, im not sure but i think the radeon r7 260(non x) doesnt require a 6 six power cable, im not certain, its probably a 7750 rebadge so you might as well go for whichever one is cheaper or has a sexier cooler, at that sort of gpu level it doesnt matter which cooler you get, jus make sure it looks sexy or its cheap.
