I just built my first gaming pc and I was wondering if 22 degrees celsius is normal for my i7 6700k at idle ( 23 degrees ambient temp)? And I'm using the corsair h100i gtx set to the performance profile on corsair link.

yup that's fine, my 5820K is about 30c at stock CPU clocks with a H110 cooler. hovers in the high 40s when my CPU is overclocked to 4.2-4.5

That's not physically possible, it can't be below ambient so what are you using as a measurement program

Well it seems to be off (it's honestly not very accurate for certain hardware based on past threads), you probably have really good temps but if you want a better reader try something like realtemp, HWmonitor, even coretemp would be better

As said, impossible. Pretty sure your ambient is not 23C. It's probably around the 17~18 mark.
