What type of grip do you have on your mouse?

Claw? Palm? or Finger tip? Also, I'll assume you're right handed?

If you're not sure on the types of grip, take a look at the spoiler below.

Why must it be a laser mouse? You know that many laser sensors suffer from acceleration issues?

Why not get an optical mouse?

There is a laser version of the Corsair Sabre RGB how is that shape not ergonomic? http://www.corsair.com/en/corsair-gaming-sabre-laser-rgb-gaming-mouse

But why would you want a laser mouse?

I want a laser mouse for portability and it is more accurate.

A mouse I fell in love with because of its amazing ergonomics for my particular grip, palm with larger hands, is the Mionix Naos series, I've had two of them now and absolutely adore them. Though, they're on the lighter side of mice, and the RGB is more of a second thought, the fading between colors is pretty choppy, but the software is at least easy to use, and there's very little acceleration from my experience as a competitive esports player on a couple shooters.

Other options are stuff like the Naos 8200, Corsair M65 or M95, Razer Naga Chroma, and Logitech G502. All solid options with similar performance/features.

What mouse did you have before? There is many different optical sensors and they arent all the same. There are bad sensors and there are good sensors.

The most common sensors in top end gaming mice are the Pixart 3310 (optical) and A9800 (laser), which the last mentioned is inferior in many ways compared to the 3310.

EDIT: The video i linked above compared just those 2 sensors.

How can there be an opinion in how accurate a sensor if it can be measured and proven?

How good is the  PMW3366 optical sensor  because this is what the Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum uses?

For portability the lasers can indeed track on more surfaces so ill list a few mice with good weight, buttons and shape.

Qpad 8k laser (125g)

Mionix Naos 8200 (~100g)

Roccat Kone XTD (120g)

Razer Mamba TE (125g)

Considered the best on the market. You will find the same sensor in the Logitech G502 and G303. And the PMW3360 (essentially the same sensor) in a few other mice from other companies.

i love the "logitech shape"

i've had a G500 for quite a few years now, and in the meantime i went as far as to replace the usb cord because the old one was worn out, and i didnt wanna get a new mouse.

unfortunately it seems they went back to optical with the G502.

my mom uses one of these at work: http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/performance-mouse-mx?crid=7

and since she recently had some issues with it (one of the switches was a bit iffy, omron switches by the way ;)) i took it apart to see what it was made of, and this thing is one impressive well built piece of kit...

- very "agressive" logitech shape, one of the more outspoken ones out there, but super comfy especially on long sessions

- laser sensor (which by the way is epic, i cannot find a surface this thing doesnt track properly on...)

- VERY durable, every time i open up a logitech mouse i'm amazed.

- wireless, but it includes a usb cord to charge it, and the included battery is a regular old rechargable AA cell.

(and in fact leaving it plugged in is one of its features :P)

- actually repairable. logitech holds true to doing EVERYTHING with screws, the pads on the bottom actually have a re-usable adhesive on them, everything is standard philips screws, and even if you manage to kill one of the omron switches you can basicly pop it open and solder in a new one in an afternoon with some skill.

- like most logitech mice, they're on the heavy side.
