Installing new psu XFW TS 550w and i've found i have wayyyy to many cables....The ones i'm holding on top of the table i need, Off the edge of the table i don't.....Is it possible to remove those? Sending back if i can't cause i literally can't fit them..

no you cannot

you'll have to send it back and get a fully modular unit if its a problerm

It's a non-modular PSU so you can't remove them, you would be better off getting  a fully modular unit or tucking them away at the bottom of the case.

You cant just cut it from the base where it's coming out of and cover the tips with electrical tape or something?

Not recommend, if you really wanted to just work with it I would take apart the PSU and directly desolder the cables you don't need from the PCB board.

You can't. You might wanna consider getting a semi or fully modular psu. The semi has just the ones you need such as the motherboard cables pre attached. Fully modular has none attached; so attach what you want.

I had a semi modular, cpu and motherboard power were the only things saughtered in...with like 6 4 pin connectors..

That shouldn't be considered semi modular then.
