raise mult, stress test, if it passes increase multi.
if it fails increase voltage 0.05v and retry, if it fails try another 0.05..
if it succeeds raise multi again and repeat.
keep the temps below 65 and voltages not much higher than 1.45 (i think)
how much you gain from an overclock depends on what your doing

Max 80 in Prime95

No, I'm genuinely curious, where are you guys getting this information from?

@marto says similar, but from everything I've known about the BD/PD has safe 24/7 @62 with worst case scenario (prime95) under 70c, beyond that degradation is likely to occur but would probably be throttled by socket temp and VRM anyway.

Officially I don't believe they've given a thermal guideline to PD, but instead generally stated 'mid 60's'

The 4 and 6 core variant FX chips are cleared for 80c, but the 8 core is not.

Error: 410

Just a friendly reminder that at 5GHz, an FX8350 consumes nearly 300W of power. If you intend on landing north of 4GHz, you better take the power consumption into consideration.

Well, you will never be at full load like Prime95 so in a game you will be at around 70
