So i'm planning to upgrade my shitty speakers from bestbuy to Micca MB42X Speakers

And i was looking at dac/amps (need a dac because i have lot of audio interference apparently) and the Micca OriGen+ caught my eye because i can have both my headphones and speakers in the dac/amp and i can just flip a switch on the device to change outputs. But i was wondering is it worth spending 150$ on this dac/amp? (Canadian pricing sadly) if the speakers i plan on getting and my headphones (Philips SHP9500) cost less?

My current setup is :

Headphones + soundcard

Standalone speakers (has interference atm)

My goal is to have both my headphones and speakers in the same amp/dac, however if there is a better way feel free to let me know as I'm only just diving into the slightly better audio.

I wouldn't mind using my soundcard for one of the devices and getting something else for the other, but there are so many options out there!

Why do you say you have a lot of audio interference "apparently"? Is there some reason believe that you have any? Have you attempted to troubleshoot the issue?

I would say the Origen is worth the money, considering the exchange rate right now. It's a functional unit for sure.

Based on your comments, I would recommend these.

No. Zeos is not a good reviewer, and the Micca's are probably better, and cheaper.
