Hey everyone,

Basically i plan to replace my laptop with an ITX,gaming capable build which i can fit in Cabin Sized Luggage,including peripherals,screen,ups(maybe).

So overall my sizes possible is:50cm(h) x 37cm(w) x 22cm(d)

around my budget some fixed parts are:

i5-6500

evga sc gtx 1060

h110i mobo(msi hh10i pro vd)

Single 480-512 GB SSD(maybe 1 extra m.2 ssd+hdd in future)

8x2 DDR4 2133 Mhz ram

RVZ02 or RVZ01 or Everest Cubic Case,

So the rough part comes in the PSU Selection where i need some help on it.

According to OuterVision PSU Calc,even including possible Storage Upgrades,

It shows up like this : http://outervision.com/b/glMPBy

+3.3 V   ||   +5V   ||   +12V

  5.1A    ||   7.7A  ||   21.3A

          56W          ||   256W

Load Wattage:261 W
Recommended UPS rating:600 VA
Recommended PSU Wattage:311 W

Now this makes me wonder,an 350w sfx psu could handle this?My targetted psu model is: High Power SFX 350W 80+ Bronze 8cm

Specs of the PSU Itself;

HPF-350BR_icgorsel_02.jpg

HPF-350BR_icgorsel_06.jpg

So at this point i am wondering due to huge price difference between silverstone sfx 450w and this unit,do you think my system would run with this PSU?

the only other thing would be to grab a aftermarket cooler

Anything over the amount of wattage u need is fine, 350 should do the trick, check pcpartpicker if u still r hesitant, put ur build in, they'll give u compatible psu's, even make sure that build is fine

No! U don't need anywhere close to an 500 watt build, jesus

350 WAT IS FINE

For the sake of his computer not exploding and having future upgrading headroom (not to mention how cheap the difference is) it seems like the best option to me.

Edit: that particular PSU looks shady as hell

my problem is sfx units are overpriced this psu i linked is about 25-30 bucks while silverstone 450w sfx unit is around 70 bucks..the difference is huge also i will not do overclocking so i will be fine with stock cooler aswell as its not bothering me to have a little bit noisy computer.

All i am worrying is would i get random crashes

Quite honestly I think you're better off saving for a nicer PSU like the Silverstone one so you can save yourself the headache later on of potential troubleshooting (not to mention having much cleaner power). The one you mentioned isn't even on PCPartPicker.

@cdsboy2000

my budget is around 3500 TL(+/- 200 TL)

i5-6500(690 TL)

GTX 1060 SC by EVGA(1198 TL)

Kingston HyperX Fury 8x2 GB 2133 DDR4 Ram(248 TL)

MSI H110I Pro(250 TL)

Cabin Sized Suitcase(80 TL)

Subtotal-2466 TL

So i left up with about 1100 TL(Which is about 250-300 usd including extreme taxes in turkey) for 1080p monitor preferably 22'' or smaller,case,psu,storage

Ultra quick access to p0rn of course.

PSU: Corsair HX750i

That system can probably do fine with a 350watt power supply, but I'd go for 400-450watts anyway.

I'd go for one of the Silverstone cases because they specify SFX-L power supply compatibility. (I'm not sure what power supply is recommended with the Cube case.)

A sieve may not hold water, but it will hold another sieve.

i5-6600, 16Gigs, ITX Corsair 250D, R9 390, 120Gig M.2 boot, 500Gig SATA SSD, no HDD

Why 16GB RAM? No need for that.

first, 16 gigs of ram is smart overall, and second, u have a fair point, but for bare minimum of what he needs, an 350 watt will do
