Best 'entry level' 144hz screen?

I don't want to have to fiddle with it effectively. You hear a lot of people writing these huge guides of strobe timing etc. I'm just after a 144hz screen, no nonsense plug and ready to go with a proven track record.

What resolution do you want 1080p 144Hz monitors are much cheaper than 144Hz 1440p monitors

For the money, the AOC G2460PF. It's in the same league as the classic Asus VG248QE and BenQ XL2411Z, just cheaper and with Freesync support.

1080P is fine. 

 

Would G Sync make any difference if you can push over 144fps anyway? The type of games I play 144 should be no issue.
