Hello!

I currently have the Logitech M320 and I want to try out something new! I do quite a bit of gaming and productivity/school work. Please let me know what mouse you guys would recommend me! Also, I'm looking for a new mousepad so.... open to recommendations there too.

Any like $5 mouse pad from target will do, as far as a new mouse goes, what do you want to spend? I love the Logitech G303, its simple and its very comfortable. There is a similar model, the G302 which is just not RGB. There are plenty of other options.

SteelSeries QcK XXL Mouse Pad

but what is the real use of a mouse pad like that? I have never understood the want for a mouse pad that sits under your keyboard....

had it on my clipboard

too lazy to find the rest xD

although i do  like using the space under my keyboard sometimes as a place to use my mouse.

How would the G402 and G502 compare against each other?

As someone who owns both, the G502 is a better mouse.

The G402 is lighter, and has no weights in it, and the DPI goes up/down in set increments (for example, I use 3500 DPI as my preferred setting, but I have to settle for 3520 on the G402) and there's no free scroll wheel. There's also less buttons etc on it, and I am incapable of using surface tuning on it like I am with my G502. There's also this issue where the backlight sometimes doesn't completely disappear from it after leaving it idle until the light is supposed to timeout, but that might be a quirk of my mouse specifically. On the good side, the mouse wheel feels better and the mouse is nicer to hold, and the buttons are a little more sensibly shaped. It doesn't get as dirty either, I believe due to the shape of the buttons. I'd say it's just as accurate as the G502 as well.

The G502 has a weight system, a free scroll wheel, more buttons, a "scroll left" and "scroll right" feature by pushing the mouse wheel left/right, and surface tuning. It's heavier by default I believe, though I use it with all the weights in. I'd recommend the 502 if you could afford it and the shape doesn't bother you. It's a fantastic mouse.

The G303 can be another consideration if you like mice rather light, but I don't have extensive usage with it.

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.

THE INFORMATION GUIDES: SLI INFORMATION || vRAM INFORMATION || MOBILE i7 CPU INFORMATION || Maybe more someday
