So I recently purchased a new ASUS Sabertooth 990FX motherboard after my old MSI 970 Gaming one bricked. I have two drives, my SSD as the main boot and the Hard Drive that's there for documents/music/etc. I read up some things about ACPI disable but I don't know if that's a validated reason on why my Hard Drive reads as an external advice. Is this just a Windows issue?(wouldn't be surprised because they literally cluster everything on purpose which can be really annoying). Is there anything I can do to fix this? It's not really a big issue to me but I don't know if it might be an issue later if I use multiple external drives or USB pens.

could be in your bios settings, you have the sata port that harddrive is connected to as a hotswap port?
