I am building a new budget skylake gaming  PC with an i5 6500, 16gb ddr4 and gpu which is undecided.

Is this mobo okay for gaming and a possible slight overclock on whatever gpu I get: Gigabyte H110M S2PV LGA1151 DDR4 mATX Motherboard

I do not need quad channel ram, m.2, sli or crossfire, overlcoking cpu, or crazy amounts of USB ports so I figured this mobo would be okay, and its cheap.

what do you guys think? will this be fine for gaming?

Im not asking for its value, I'm asking if it will be fine for what I need

I'm asking the price so that I can see if there's any other option for you.

That price range can only get you H110 chipset, possibly entry B150.

Guess that's fine.

How do the B150 compare for gaming? would it be worth paying more?

Should be no difference.

It's just that B150 usually have more USB ports and SATA slot.

If the board that you choose is enough for your usage then no need to pay more.

MSI boards iirc are just ever so slight better than Gigabyte boards. Though I'm not 100% if maybe MSI is actually quite a bit better because I've seen some people say that Gigabyte boards kinda suck so idk...

But there's this for AUD$108

If you want something less gamer-y and cheaper there's this.

AUD$89

Quality and Customer Service, at least from what I've heard. Also reviews on MSI boards seem to be better on average than Gigabyte boards.
