Hi,

Firstly hi everyone i've been here for a while and im always eager to ask this what kind of graphic card should i choose? i mean there's so much when it comes to choosing like clock speeds, frequencies and vram but i dont understand any of this. Not only that sometimes i dont know which brand should i choose i see Asus,Palit,EVGA, and many more but i just dont see a clear definition here.I looked up Youtube and cant find anything im looking for i was hoping Linus did a video on that but i still have trouble finding it :/.So if someone is wiling to help me out i really would apperciate it! Im doing it to upgrade my current build.Hoping for a reply soon. Thanks!

It depends on your budget, what resolution you want to play at, what settings you want to play at, what games you want to play and what FPS you are comfortable with. There's no point of buying a 1080 if you just want to play LOL, likewise if you want to max out games at 4K, you will need more than a 950. I wouldn't worry abou the brands, just buy what you like or is the cheapest.

Then what about overclocking? I hear this all the time i dont understand it and i dont understand the use of it.I mean all i want is to capture good gameplays videos  and render them. But i treat it as a hobby

overclocking means increasing the Mhz your GPU runs at. higher Mhz= higher performance. so basically, overclocking is a free way to push a little extra performance out of your GPU!

it can be dangerous too though, as when you start messing with core voltages, there is a (very small) chance to destroy your GPU.

Overclocking is just running the card at a higher frequency than what the manufacturer guarantees it'll run at. It's a way to get extra performance without paying more, though it has it's limits.

Overclocking will just squeeze a little more performance out of the GPU. But this wont help with rendering any.

Depends...some manufacturers have higher MHz than others and better coolers but they are in particular all the same, now if you chose by brands your buying better warranty, customer service,RMA etc...

I'm not yelling at you, just telling you that it'll help you get answers through! :)

Well I'm sure it supports it, I do however think that your CPU will bottleneck a 1060.

Eh dont sweat it.. :)

One question what does bottleneck mean? Is it like lag?

I means that your GPU will be too powerful for your CPU to process. This will result in your CPU working at 100% under load and not giving you the full performance of your GPU. It is very identical to lag, your CPU will lag behind your GPU.
