So i recently bought an extra internal usb hub for my pc. I installed it and the moment i did my system fans kept running, my motherboard light doesn't turn off and some other hicupses. The only way to completely shut down my pc is by turning off the power switch.

Does Anybody know a solution?

Try going in the start menu and press restart while holding down shift to get to a advanced menu, then the very right option is shutdown, this will completely shut down the system

tried it

didn't work:(

any other solutions?

The USB hub is still drawing power from the +5 volts rail I believe. That will keep the PC running.

Easiest thing to do is replace the hub for something else.

It's not a race to the bottom.

He's right. I've seen plenty of these. Just find a better USB hub.
The hardest solution is to rewire all that cheap chinese usb hub/sdreader/whatever so it will turn off. If you can make a circuit like that, i don't think you would have bought that hub in the first place
