Well yeah the 780ti makes even less sense than I thought. 

 

I suggested the Red Devil because it's the same price as the cards in the OP. It won't run hotter than a reference 290x and it's a hell of a lot quieter. lolol

Quieter I'll give you, but it runs almost as hot and in some games loses to the reference. It's unfortunate because of how great it looks but it's just not a card to recommend. The Nitro and MSI are way better cards. And I'm a Sapphire fanboy so my choice would be obvious xD
