What color?

I don't know which color I should use for my black build with white accents. I'm retarded when It comes to colors so I want your suggestions, I would just go with white, but what do you think, what would look good? 

 

Edit: With color I mean colors of a led strip oder led fan.

Get RGB LED strips, and you can change it whenever you want

always white, any other colour just makes everything that colour and all the work you did getting the hints of colour and details will be gone.

I want a RBG led strip that I can control trough software but I shouldn't be expensive so nothing like a NZXT Hue+.

Feel free to suggest anything.

black with any other color stands out just as well. White gets visibly dirty easily, and its a very "bright" and stand-out color. Black is more low-key and looks good with any color and any place.

Well unless you have an ASUS motherboard with an RGB header on it to plug your strip in, the only other way to control them would be through an external device like the Hue+

Really is there no software solution for any strips ? What about rgb strips with a molex connector but nothing else ? How are they supposed to be controlled?

There is controllers out there similar to the Hue+, but the only software controller for RBG strips is going to be the header on the ASUS motherboards.

ah, overlooked that he is getting the LED strips, my bad.

 

Then as said get RGB strips, white light would go best with the white accents, but you could throw in any color like red, lime green, or blue and it will still look good.

Can you recommend me a good led strip that's cheap and that has access to the full RGB spectrum ( so like 16.8 million colors)?

Of course there is other cheaper ways. Buy some LED strips and you can program a micro controller to control them how you want in crazier patterns/colors.

That sound like I have to make my own pcb ( soldering etc) and make my own program for that. Do you mean it like this ?

If you do have an Asus motherboard though, just go to CableMod and get some 60in RGB Strips and hook it up to your rgb header, as it is very easy to use.

I always wanted to but never spent the money to get RGB strips myself so I don't have direct feedback on brands. Linus used some cablemod strips in his recent video and they seem to look good and its a good manufacturer. You could also look into the NZXT hue system.

No just pick up an arduino and you can probably get an RGB LED strip code off git or something.
