Hello anyone reading this topic. I have a very urgent and upsetting issue with my computer. Recently for about a month now, my computer randomly restarts out of no where. I have taken it to computer repair shops and they said it was fine but when I took it home and turned it on, the computer restarted. It would not even let me sign into the desk top. Yesterday the computer some how worked all day. Though today I turned it on hoping it would work well again, about 30 minutes after turning on the computer it restarted itself. I have asked this same question to the people of tomshardware.com and someone told me that it could be my psu. Its a EVGA Supernova NEX650G. The guy told me that it is known for being unstable and has problems. Should I get a new psu or can this be fixed somehow?? I just need some more advice as to would it could be because I need my pc. I spent like 1000+ dollars on it. If anyone could please help me I would greatly appreciate it.

PC Parts include:

-intel core i7-4790k

-msi Z97 Gaming 5

-EVGA Supernova NEX650G

I would buy a new PSU or check your power socket, and if your plugged into a power strip make sure your foot or something inst flipping the switch on accident.

Also just saw your parts, and wold recommend upgrading your GPU because your cpu is expensive and you would want to get every bit of performance out of it.

You're good for power and although the NEX isn't the greatest PSU, I highly doubt that it's the source of your problems/

Have you dialed back any overclocks yet?

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
