6870 upgrade!?

Hello i am really wanting to upgrade my 1gb 6870 to a newer card. but i havent selected a new one and was thinking should i wait till all the prices settle down? used or new idk , i really want around 150 tops. my current pics.

380x

7970

maybe 970

maybe 470 if there are cheaper models.

what should i do?

welp. that CPU aint that good but maby something like a 380 used would fit you good here? that entire PC is in need of an upgrade tbh and i would say used parts are your best bet tbh, its also a lot of fun to find used parts and all that IMO, could help if you were living in Sweden lol(pretty sure your not tho :P )

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Will the 460 be in your range? There's no sense in getting something weaker just because your CPU might not keep up.

380X is comparable to a RX 470 so 380X. Have you looked at your local classifieds yet? ie Craigslist

For $150, I wouldn't recommend much from Nvidia since they'll be short on VRAM. If you can wait to buy a RX 480 8GB, that'd be about the best I'd recommend for 250. At 150, I'd go with the 380x (Link below for a new one).
