help upgrading

hey guys... so does anyone know if it is worth it to upgrade from a 4440 core i5 to a 4790k i don't plan on upgrading the motherboard in the future as that would get fairly expensive as I would also need a newer probably more expensive cpu, thanks in advance...

Depends on what you do and the rest of your system.

 

Generally, I'd say no. But your answer to the above might change that recommendation.
