I am planning to build a gaming pc not bleeding edge but a decent one. i have chose the goodies but want some suggestions and advices.

I am going to use this pc mostly for gaming and internet surfing. 

I am from India so prices are quite different. Max budget is 730$

 

Case: Thermaltake Versa N21         (64$) = (4300 INR)

 

MoBo:      MSI 970a G43                 (83$) = (5555 INR)

CPU:      AMD Athlon X4 860k          (146$) = (9800 INR)

GPU: Asus strix 960 4gb                  (290$) = (19200 INR)

RAM: Corsair Vengance 8gb DDR3    (43$) = (2900 INR)

PSU: Corsair VS550 Watts                (52$) = (3550 INR)

Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1tb        (55$) = (3700 INR)

 

I have a samsung 1920x1080 monitor. will this setup give me 1080 gaming with decent fps ?

i3 6100 costs (135$) = (9000 INR)

RX470 is not available in my country yet. 

can u suggest me a motherboard around the same price for athlon x4 860k ?

860K cannot be used on a AM3+ motherboard, it most be used on a FM2+ one. o3o

After watching through amazon.in that's pretty much the best I could do:

The GTX 960 has the best price-performance imo and the card should be fine with if you wanna play on 1080p.

The FX-6300 is also more than enough for gaming imo and it's by far cheaper than a i3/mobo combination.

 

This should be slightly under your 730$ budget if I didnt do a mistake somewhere along the journey.

Get something like a gtx 1060 and an i5 rather than an AMD platform. The AM3+ platform is long outdated and you miss out on things such as PCI-E gen3, NVMe support and DDR4. Investing in a brand new AM3+ system at this point in time is foolishness especially when zen is around the corner with AM4.

 

go for a B150/H170 chipset motherboard and an i5 6400 with a gtx 1060. that should handle just about any game at 1080p :)

You have to consider his budget. An i5-6400 + motherboard with a 1060 is already more than his budget of 730$ (India).
