Need help cleaning my case fans

Go to solution Solved by StaffCorporal,

I find the best way is using a little brush and compressed air. I usually remove the component from the case if it is not too inconvenient. I do this outside. In regards to you allergy, maybe wear a dust mask?

Hi i am cleaning my PC of dust and i have noticed my left case fan, (case: Thermaltake core v21) closest to my wall has got quite a bit of dust in the fan. What would be the best way of removing the dust without getting dust everywhere, as i have a dust allergy. (Case Fan is Cooler Master R4-L2R-20AC-GP 69.0 CFM 120mm Fan)

Get a space suit. :D

I have the same problem and I think the only thing you can do is let someone else do it. Even if you have your vacuum right next to this and only clean the fan blades with a small brush you will still get dust in your surrounding. Just done this at a friends and even though we had the vacuum right next to everything this was still dusty as hell.

To RGB, or not to RGB? That is the question.
