2 Routers, 1 Network [Oh yeah ;)]

ryan9298b2

So, this may be a little bit disjointed because I'm currently ripping my hair out, but...  Here is the setup that I need to get working.

                           A few wifi clients

                      home theatre equipment                     Ubiquiti Access point on a subnet   (10.64.0.0/10)

                          A few computers                                   1 computer on a subnet    (10.0.0.0/10) 10.61.137.225

                                     ^                                                          ^

Modem-->Router 1 (Linksys EA4500v2)-->Router 2 (Ubiquiti Edge Router PoE)

                                192.168.10.1                                           10.0.0.1

                                 255.255.255.0                                     255.192.0.0

Right now, this works with one exception.   Anything hooked to the linksys, can't talk to anything connected to the ubiquiti router.  In addition to that, anything connected to the ubiquiti access point can't do anything but get on the internet.  It can't even ping the computer @ 10.61.137.225.

The computer at the 10.61 address can talk to anything on the 192.168 network, just not the other way around.

You need to setup a static route between the two routers.

Yea, either static route or VLAN trunking.

I would change the router 2 to the same network and change the dhcp settings on both of them so that they don't interfere with each other (Router 1: 100-150; Router 2: 151-200) that should work

internet i probably not working because of the standart gateway

Would a static route be done on the linksys or the ubiquiti, or both.

Absolutely not.  Purely an exercise is making it complicated and trying to learn from the experience.
