Suggestions for build

Go to solution Solved by Energycore,

A Hyper 212 EVO is barely enough to cool a stock 5820K, and if you're going to render video, you should take the 5820K anyway.

But do cool it well please. Use something like the GamerStorm Assassin.

CM G650M is fine, but you might be able to find a better model. I can help you if you link me to an online retailer.

Hi folks,

These are two configurations of a new computer that I'm planning to build:

For I7 4790k:

     Motherboard- MSI Z97 Gaming 5

     RAM- G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB

For I7 5820k:

     Motherboard- MSI x99 Gaming 7

     RAM- G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB

Video card- MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X

PSU- Cooler Master G650M (I live in Brazil and the EVGA Supernova 650 is not sold here)

I'm still defining my budget, so I have two options, one with the 4790k, and the other with the 5820k, I'm not sure yet which one I will build. This will be for gaming and for some image/video editing, and I will overclock the CPU and GPU. Should I use a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO for it or do you suggest other less than $50 cooler?

What do you think about it? Any suggestions?

Thanks for the feedback ;)

I think that these are the best for these type of products:

http://www.kabum.com.br/

This site is like an eBay:

Look for a check under the product, a platinum or gold one, this are the sellers quality definers.

The problem is that this one cost R$250 (~$80) more that the CM one.

Wait you're paying $200 equivalent for that GM PSU?

Ouch. What's your budget? It sounds like the GM is going to be fine for you.

I don't have a defined budget, but, this build with the I7 5820k will cost around $2100 (without the cooler).
