Spec are:

I7 6700k (not overclock yet)

16Gb

EVGA 980Ti

Corsair 100r case (with glass)

Under load my EVGA 980Ti tops at 91c with ambient case temp at 52c. This is with the stock case fan and two cheap fans in the front. I decided to upgrade the fans and move thing around. I remove the HDD cage move storage the a empty 5.25 slot. So nothing is blocking the front fans. I picked up a Corsair AF120 for the rear, two NF-F12 for the front, and used one of the cheap fans at the top. Once everything is back together, temps are still just as high. The front grill of the case is pretty restricted and I don't "feel" much more air flow using the NF then the cheap fans.

My next ideas are to use fans with more CFM in the front and rear or look into watercooling the card (which I kind of don't want).

Any help would be great!

Thanks!

What is your ambient temp? That plays a huge role.

This has greatly improved temps. Had just enough arctic 5 left over. Getting 76c with 75% fan speed compared to 91c at 100%.

Temps inside the case are a bit hotter at 55c. Any suggestions on fans for this case?

maybe put some fans on the top and put 1 more in the front

make the fans on the back and the top outtakes and for the ones on the front have them intake
