cooler compatibility

hi, i plan to buy a i7 2nd gen, to be more exact the i7-2600 3.4GHz with 1 year warranty and i use a i3 3220 3.3 GHz. are the coolers compatible? (it's the best 1155 socket processor performance/price that i can find in my country)

Most intel coolers are compatible since the setup hasn't changed any to my knowledge but here's a list of coolers in no particular order, water or air etc but they are all 1155 compatible

Yes, the coolers are compatible but the stock cooler for the i3 isn't as good the one that comes with the i7. Depending on your case ventilation, it may or may not cool well enough.
