It would probably be a massive waste (And look terrible). Although you are on a tight budget, I would recommend at least 720p if not full 1080p. 

Please quote our replys so we get a notification and can reply easily. Never cheap out on a PSU, or I will come to watch the fireworks.

yea, i'm kinda borrowing one of this old monitor from a good friend of mine for a while till i'll get some money for a new one

Well, if it's a temporary solution it will work (Any monitor will), it just wont look that great. At least you will be able to run games decently (Trying to find a silver lining).

I'd do that but i have some old TV's like 1999-2000

Windows really doesn't agree with monitors that are below 720p. It isn't going to work well. If you are happy with this, I guess this will do.

Also note you can get computer monitors cheap at Op Shops or second at websites like Gumtree, ebay and craigslist. I bought a 15" TV 1024x768 which can upscale to 1280x1024 for nothing, and a 17" 1280x1024 monitor for $3 today.

Eh i can't buy from crag list or any of that websites, because i'm from romania... but what windows does not agree with monitors below 720p?

I had problems with 8.1 that windows were a bigger than the screen, I also couldn't log into any OS above XP because it doesn't auto detect the resolution of analogue displays and Windows XP default generic screen resolution I believe is 1024 x 768.

I never had problems with that... I've used win10 on an old dell monitor of the same resolution as you..
