So I just purchased a 802.IIN Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter for my computer and I have a 5Ghz network. But It only picks up the 2.4Ghz one. Did I buy the wrong product (that doesnt support 5Ghz) or does my computer have some issues or something?

Cheaper wifi adapters cannot work with a 5Ghz network. Even if it takes a few hours to do, I would recommend running an Ethernet cable through the wall, to your desktop, or using a power line adapter.

yeah cant do that I was either lookig for a card or an adapter

The Cheap wireless N products are 2.4Ghz only. You need to look for devices that are N 750 or above. I would heavily suggest a PCI Express add in card, never had much luck with USB WIFI. If USB is the only thing, try to find something on a USB extension cable, this way you can at least move it around and find the best reception.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
