What is trolling?

Hey guys,

I know this may seem like a silly question to ask but I seriously want to know what trolling is and being called a troll means. The only definition of a a troll is some mythical creature other than that I'm clueless.

Please enlighten me of the definition of which it means to be a troll and trolling.

Being a dick to someone, usually over the internet. Pretty much on the same level as playing a prank on a sibling when you were 10.

Trolling is not "being a dick" or "disagreeing" or anything like that. Trolling is when someone deliberately tries to make someone else mad/upset. You can be a dick and not be trolling.

If I make a post specifically designed to make you upset, then I am trolling. If I am rude while arguing with you, then I am not trolling (or well I can be if I deliberately is rude in a way I know upsets you).

Trolling is when you go the the shopping and you accidentally hit a trolley at the carpark and left it rolling down the street.

 

Also, consoles, Apple, Android, Windows Phone sucks.
