i'm trying to get the best possible overclock for my gtx 1080 (msi gaming x), but the problem is that I don't know how to increase voltage on msi afterburner. so how would i go about doing that??

you need to dig into the settings and enable the manual voltage contorls

You can always try another software like EVGA PrecisionX if it doesn't work.

I read that 1080s is hard limit 1.25V, it should be safe up till there. You should be able to OC around 2GHz. Over 2.1GHz, your card would crash.

I get get my card to 2167mhz @ 1.09V with +100 core voltage any way to increase the voltage higher

You could flash your bios with another one. I think XOC bios got till 1.2V
