I've got an idea for an evolution-based education game that would start in the Stone Age and slowly progress towards now or even the future.

Player would be able to learn all sorts of things from Physics, Chemistry and so on, throughout a research and questing system.

I'm seeking programmers and artist that would want to precipitate in this project.

Requirements

Programmer:

At least intermediate knowledge or Unity/Unreal Engine

Example of your work

2D/3D Artist:

Example of your work

What skills and experience are you contributing? Also what are you paying for the various positions?

Do you have a GDD and a business plan made?

I could ask a few dozen more questions but I am on mobile.

An even split once profit gets made.

Well that is doomed from the start. You will to find very few people willing to work for free. Typically if they're willing to do so it is because the lack the necessary skills required to complete the job. For any competent engine/game programmer as well as concept artists, 3D artists, animators, texture artists, audio engineers, designers, marketing ect ect you will have to pay 6 figure salaries. From what I listed there seems to be a quite a few gaps in your team for various disciplines. How are you going to fill those? Contracting? Hire someone permanent?

Also the fact that you are not paying anyone makes me raise the question of how are you going to fund this. Development tools are crazy expensive, there are free alternatives but often times there's a very good reason why they're free and its typically a case of the tool sucks.

You need to get your shit together before anyone with half a brain will work with you.

You've told us a little about the game, but can you give us a little information about yourself?

  • Are you a student or have you graduated? At what level (high school, college, university)?
  • Do you have any experience in education, programming, graphic design, business management, etc?
  • Have you worked professionally in any of these areas?
