HELP! I'm begging you! Visual Studio can't build appx packages!

Help! Visual Studio can't build appx package!

 

It's telling me that the app manifest has errors (despite me being able to debug the app and have it run)

 

 

I've removed all sensitive information.

Please help! I really want to create appx files for an app update but i can't!

Try to reinstall Visual Studio,i don't see any problem but just try to reinstall it

Reinstall it? WHAT!! Visual Studio is like 20GB man......

 

I "repaired" it using the repair tool before and that didn't work.

And do I need to download the new Windows 10 anniversary update SDK for it to work after I've uninstalled it and when I start reinstalling it?

I've had reinstalling Visual Studio fix a similar problem. I can't remember the details like if this was the error I was getting. But the symptom was that I could sandbox anything and everything passed fine. Just building the app resulted in an error. Before I went there, I did start a new project with just basic hello world stuff on it and try and build it just to verify it wasn't my code that was messed up. The issue persisted. Then after I reinstalled, I tried building my original code and it worked flawlessly.

Ohhhhhh. I know what I did.

 

After some playing around I realized that I needed to type in "10.0.10240.0" for Min Version and "10.0.14393.0" for maxtested

When I try to build appx packages it tells me I haven't made any apps or don't have any app identity in the app store

It's for Windows 10 yeah. I don't work for Linus. Yes, I am the developer of the Windows Version (but we have a seperate team for the upcoming Android version).

 

And making it work on Windows 7/8/8.1 is not the top priority, Sorry.

I don't need it to work with Windows,i need it to fully function on my dosbox with a frame rate of 1fpm (frames per minute)
