When is Xbox Scorpio coming out?

Johnmakuta

I know that it says holiday 2017 but does that mean in the next 5 months or 17 months? I am debating between buying an Xbox or a new graphics card for my PC. I am only thinking of getting Xbox (already have a PS4) because I want to play halo 5 and Scalebound plus a few of the new games they announced. I think I'll get a new graphics card anyway but I'd really like to know when Scorpio is coming out.

It's already out for pre-orders.

You'll be waiting closer to 15-16 months.

If you want an Xbox, get one. If you can wait well over a year until Scorpio comes out, get a graphics card.

Wow, that sucks. Are all those games they showed off at E3 coming to Windows 10? I know they said that but I know there was controversy.

Right. Let's clear something up.

You have the Xbox One, which looks like a VHS/Betamax deck.

You then have the Xbox One S, a slimmer version with an internal power supply and looks more like a DVD player than a VHS deck.

Then you have Scorpio, which is supposedly an Xbox One that's 4K capable. Supposedly, at least; we've still to wait for info about that.

Thanks bro! Now I get it. Just, so can you buy a Xbox One S only for a DVD player? So if  you rent a movie and put the disk in the Xbox One S will it play the movie? Thanks again for your response!

I was making comparisons based on the size and appearance of them. Don't look too deeply into it; no matter which one you get, it includes a Blu-Ray drive which can also play Blu-Rays, DVDs and CDs. At least, that's what I'm sure of, since every other one can do that just fine.
