Old PC uses?

I have a very old pc with a Pentium CPU but it's just taking up room in my house, what can I do with it? I had an idea to put it in the room next to me and leave it running and plug a cat 6 into mine and the old one but i don't know what I would be able to do with that. Is there anything I can do with it? Also I have no money so I can't do anything to upgrade it.

2nd pc put a linux distro on it or u can make a nas

I sold a Prescott Pentium 4 PC for 10 euros :P I put Linux Mint on it because I just hate to give someone a PC with Windows XP on it.
