Hey guys!

Im soon going to do my first ever build, and this is the components I've looked up:

Processor: Intel core i5 6600k
motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z170-Gaming K3
case: NZXT S340 Black/red
 RAM: HyperX Fury DDR4 2133MHz 16GB Black
PSU: Corsair RM650X 650W
graphic card: rx 480 saph (think im going to buy another one later on)
CPU cooler: evo 212

I already own a Samsung 850 evo 500G, so I'm going to wait a bit before I buy a HDD (don't really have to much money to play around with)

the build atm costs 1100$ (Why you do this to me Sweden:() and I can't really add more cash to the pot as of now.

DO you guys have any thoughts about the build? Please let me know :)

Build looks good from what I can see. I was going to recommend a lower wattage PSU but you mention that you're going to be getting another RX 480 later on, so that's fine really.

Yeah, I honestly can't see anything wrong here lol. Good job!

Thanks dude, but dont you think that the 212 might be a tad bit to weak? I do belive that Im going ot OC my processor, and I could afford a slightly better cooler (such as the dark rock 3)

I didn't know you had plans to overclock lol.

I don't personally have experience with overclocking, so sadly I can't really advise you there.

No problems man^_^

Im not experienced in OC processors either, but since i got all the right components for it, I might as well go for it.

I think im going to buy a slightly better cooler for OC and for the looks;)

Looks good. The same kit would be $1200 USD here in NZ, international prices are a bitch.

If you don't plan to overclock immediately. You could use the stock cooler to begin with and save up for an aftermarket cooler later.

I was talking about getting a rock 2 or maybe even a 3, and I have the money for such a small change. I think it would feel better to just install a good aftermarket coolder to begin with, and since Im probably going to install a second GPU and an HDD, I don't really want to have to much work ahead of me:)

If looks are important, (which it should be if you have a window) I personally think the be quiet! wins.

I can understand that. The stock coolers are easy to remove and install, but aftermarket coolers tend to have extra steps, which some can be easier to perform while the motherboard is still outside the case.

Tjena! Ser ut som en stadig build faktiskt.

The only thing I'd consider is, as you said, a slightly better cooler and probably a better PSU considering that future extra RX 480 and overclocking.

I can recommend the EVGA G2 SuperNOVA 750w, it has gold efficiency and I haven't heard any negative things about it. I use the 850w version of it myself and used the 750w for a friends build. (Du kan se min kommentar på EVGA G2 SuperNOVA 850w på komplett.se under namnet "Will").

The Dark Rock 3 is known for being a silent and good air cooling solution, note however that it's supposed to be a hassle to install. CRYORIG R1 Ultimate and Noctua D15 is supposed to have ABOUT the same performance, size and silence level as the DR3 (Noctua D15 being the best of the best.. but also the ugliest).

All of the coolers mentioned above are avaliable in Sweden and are coolers I personally consider getting. Above all the Dark Rock PRO 3 in my case but that'd be overkill for a 6600K. In the end it's up to what you want to get, I'd get the DR3 since, well.. it's sexy and cools well. Any of the ones i recommended will cool WAY more than you need. Just make sure they fit in your case! :)

It's nice for everyone else to keep writing in English since this is, after all, a forum for everyone and if you want constructive help and critizism English is the way to go. :)

Hmm, going for the DR3 will be very risky. We don't want you to get it in case it doesn't fit, especially considering that the S340 case scratches easily and PERMANENTLY. And yes, calculators usually work fine and all but extra clearance is always good and if you're considering overclocking you really should go for more than 500w. Brands however does matter, sure, but not between Corsair and EVGA in this case. Both manufacturers make solid PSU's, choose one from either one with good quality. PSU's is the part you really don't want to cheap out on!

There is no stock cooler with the i5 6600K.

Yeah, it's really does seem worth to spend 50sek (5-6$) more for that 750w PSU. A 650 would probably work with crossfire but it's better to be safe then sorry. And i might install some other things aswell (LED strips, extra fans etc.) so the higher tier option would be more future proof. Im going to look into the most optimal CPU cooler, but I also belive that the DR3 is a tad bit to large for the case.

Thanks so much for the feedback (especially the PSU part), hope to talk to you again sometime! :D

Anytime, dear. Feel free to stop by my profile and such, it's a better place suited if you'd like to ask me stuff in Swedish too.

Good luck with your build!
