I am buying a used 4690k and Asus Z97-P for $200 Canadian. Is this a good price?

That's an excellent deal. Slap on a decent air aftermarket cooler and overclock that sucker.

Buy it now before the seller realizes. =P Converted to USD, just to check, you would be spending a lot more if you bought new. Why is the seller selling so cheap?

That's a pretty good deal.  Heck, that'd still be a decent deal if it were only an i5-2500k or an i5-3570k.

I highly recommend testing the chip with the seller to see that it actually does work fine. Most of the times, to good to be true, is usually exactly what it says.
