Hey guys,

I'm planning on building a "Lan Rig" and have listed some parts below for the build. Right now the products are going to cost me roughly 1200$ US. I pretty much want this rig to run BF4 with high fps and to run smoothly on low to medium settings.

I already have a GPU for this build (MSI GTX670 Power Edition) and I also have a 1TB WD Black for it as-well hence these two parts are not in the build below. I want to base this build around the Cosmos SE so please don't advice me on another case as I saw this case over the weekend and it gave me a semi :P

- Please can you advice me on any cheaper parts that give out the same performance for the items below.
- Whether all the parts are compatible with one another.
- If I'm missing anything out.
- Or any other recommendations.

Case: Cooler Master Cosmos SE

Get an 8350 for that cpu and either a sabertooth 990fx or an m5a97 pro. That will benefit you greatly in bf4.

I'd wait until final release because some things are unclear for now. ATM AMD 8-cores perform better than i5s in BF4. This might be fixed in final release.

This is what I'd get:

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1MmDP

But as far as you want to build it in that ugly Cosmos, here is a slight edit:

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1MmIt

My rig: CPU: Intel core i5 4670K MoBo: MSI Z87-G45 Gaming RAM: Kingston HyperX Beast 2x4GB 1600mhz CL9 GPU: EVGA GTX780 SC ACX SSD: ADATA Premier Pro SP900 256GBHDD: Western Digital RED 2TB PSU: FSP Aurum CM 750W Case: Cooler Master HAF XM OS: Windows 8 Pro

My Build log, the Snowbird (heavy WIP): http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/188011-snowbird-by-lachy/?hl=snowbird
