Zotac gtx 1070 amp extreme! Your thoughts?

DND

So hey guys i made a post about the aftermarket  980ti vs the 1070 founder's earlier. But now i have decided on getting the 1070 founders but luckily my mom said she's gonna take care of the money i need to get an aftermarket card. So know im setting my eyes on the zotac gtx 1070 amp extreme! Cause it's the cheapest good aftermarket 1070 that is currently available here in the PH. So jus wanted your thoughts on the card.

At this point, any aftermarket card is 'good'.  There really isn't an aftermarket card that is bad or worse than founders edition anyway.

It's big. And with an ugly backplate. But still SOOOO much better than founders...

Though I wonder how can this be the only good aftermarket card. I seriously doubt that there are no other options.

Pretty much, there are going to be some that have slightly higher factory overclocks but majority of them you will see little to no difference in real world gaming.  Temperatures may vary slightly but again, really doesn't make that much of a difference for the average user.

Ohhhh. Yeah i saw the video on jayztwocentz about the 1080 amp extreme. His card runs 40c when the fan is not spinninf at idle and i was intrigued by it. So i set my eyes on this cars. The 1070 and 1080 amp extreme is the same right the specs are  the only difference?

I'm running it right now, and so far, I have no reason to complain. It runs cool, although I haven't overclocked at all. It is huge though, had to remove my drive cage. Also, while I don't dislike the appearance, there are better looking cards out there.

Thanks for the insight mate. What's your case? I have the nzxt h440. Does it sag?

Master Case Pro. It doesn't sag from what I can see. Although, I'm not sure how much of that is helped by the reinforcement on the PCIe slot. I've read that they don't make much of a difference either way.

Oh i see thanks. Im only worried that it might sag in my rig. Cause my gtx 970 g1 is slightly sagging in my rig right now but the sag isn't that noticeable if yoh don't focus on the card.
