The Dell Inspiron 7559 is a compelling choice for a budget-friendly gaming laptop, but it's kind of bulky and not as beautiful as the G501VW. So if the OP want to have a good looking laptop with pretty good specs and willing to pay more money, go with the G501VW. However, if you don't care much about the outside and want to save as much as 100 dollars, go with the Dell Inspiron 7559. To be honest, I don't know about the battery life of these two models, but we don't expect much about that category from gaming laptops so I think you will always have to plug it into an electrical outlet anyway.
