I bought a soldering iron a month or so back to fix my Xbox, and have since bought a few cheap kits off eBay to build. I really enjoy putting these together, but I don't want to keep buying the same ones. What are some cool kits or projects that I can do with my soldering iron?

Nothing crazy on either of them. I did it at BWW and we were all laughing about it when people were getting pissed off so they figured out it was us. The manager asked us to give it to him or leave, so we left.

My cousin did it at Best Buy and was being extremely obvious with it, holding it out at the TVs and slowly walking along turning them off (takes about a minute to cycle thru all the codes, and you can only hit about 20 TVs at once.) so an employee asked him to leave.

Its a huge PITA for them to turn them all back on so I only did it the one time, but I use it all the time when we visit family and friends.

Instead of buying kits to solder, why not look up some project schematics then buy the components yourself and solder them up point-to-point style.

The Internet is invented by cats. Why? Why else would it have so much cat videos?

Drones. There's so much fucking soldering there, you can check out my guide if you want to get a feel for how much.

Or arduino projects, but a lot of those live on solderless breadboards.

Keyboards are also a good one. If you get a PCB, it's pretty simple, but if you want a challenge, then the hand wire stuff is pretty good too!

Hey! New SIgnature!

I'm supposedly a person on the Internet, but you'll never know if I'm human or not ;)
