GTX 670 Displayport not working

Hi,

I bought a new monitor (SAMSUNG U28E590D) and I can connect it to the pc using hdmi.
But whenever I try to use Displayport it just shows a black screen because there's no connection.

There's neither an entry in the Nvidia control panel nor in the windows control panel showing the monitor.
Reinstalling the nvidia drivers didn't fix the issue.

The input of the monitor was always set to displayport when needed.
What also suprised me is that the bios doesn't show up on startup if only the displayport cable is connected to the 670.

I've never used the displayport of my gtx 670 before.

Could it be broken or is there anything else I can try?
