should i get 1440p insted of 1080p

I'm going to be buying a all the parts soon and I'm wondering to get a 1440p monitor instead of 1080p monitors

1080p with two 1080s is completely wasted, get a 1440p monitor.

 

Edit: maybe a 144 HZ 1080 monitor, but even then it's still a bit overkill for that.

You know you can post the BB code on the forum, and not have to share a screenshot - its 10x easier and we can see it better

 

1080p is pointless with a PC like that, id be looking for 144hz 1440p or 4k

Talk about overkill for 1080p. I'd honestly being cutting some bits down which are unnecessary (storage, motherboard, Founder's Edition cards) and investing into a single 1440p IPS monitor with G-Sync and a 144Hz refresh rate such as the ASUS PG279Q or the Acer XB271HU.

I went from 1080p to 1440p and I think it's worth it. Everything is so much crisper and sharper. You can get a cheap Catleap for around 400 off ebay, that's what I'm using.

yeah my current monitor is a 1080p 144hz gsync monitor from Acer but i think it's time to move up too a 1440p monitor
